Fifth Of November - Lewes Bonfire Celebrations

Well the Fifth Of November is finally here (Almost) , the torches have been made, ready to be dipped, the effigies and tabs are finished (Almost) , the bonfires are being built, the fireworks have been sorted out (Nearly) , subs still to pay but that’s what badge night is for amongst other activities ! , Last minute repairs to the bonfire costume depending on whether one is wearing a wet weather costume or dry weather costume, due to the crap forecast.

Getting in the butchers sausages, smoky back bacon, fresh crusty loaf ( Fried Bread ) and baked beans all cooked in beef dripping for our Fifth Of November brunch, sorting out the rookies and crackers and deciding on the best rehydrating fluid to take with us. Looking forward to the red glow, smoke, bangs, fireworks and most of all the anarchy of it all. Lewes Bonfire do it because they remember and will not be druved.
