Chalklife Festival and Medieval Mayhem

Where: Nevill Juvenile Bonfire Society NJBS Firesite, Nevill Road, Lewes
Chalklife Festival and Medieval Mayhem with a Medieval Feast, has been devised to mark the anniversary Of the battle of Lewes in 1264. The highly successful yearly Extravaganza organised by Nevill Juvenile Bonfire Society on Nevill Green over the past three years is to join with the CHALKlife festival organised by Lewes District Council and in conjunction with the Friends of Wallands School. A Medieval Mayhem Fayre is to be held at Landport Bottom on Saturday 3rd May between 11.00am and 16.00pm.
Free Event. . .
This free event is a family festival celebrating the People, History and Wildlife of the South Downs with a medieval theme, sheep shearing, Battle re-enactments, bug hunting, arts and crafts, games, maypole dancing, puppet shows, Tug-O-War, displays food, bar and much more! To be kind to the environment there will be no parking at the event but there are bike trains, walking clubs and free buses. Disabled parking will be available on the Wallands School playing field.
