Here is another deliberately abandoned building which was an old folks care home in Lewes, Sussex, It has fallen to Government cut backs and it wont take long before it becomes derelict. This God`s Waiting Room is still owned but was deemed to be to expensive to run by the East Sussex County Council (ESCC) God Bless The Government and its Transparent Austerity Measures eh!
Good news though if I am correct is that the site has now been sold with the proviso of a new care home being built there. Planning permission has been given for demolition and the erection of a new Care Home with increased capacity for old folks. Just waiting on a programme of archaeological works as the site sits in, what was once an extensive pottery production area. I took only photos and left only my footprints.
