For those of you that have enjoyed the past few years at the Rock in the Bog live music festival as organised by Cliffe Bonfire Society (CBS), Do not panic, It’s still the same. . . but different apparently! The organisers have decided that the name Rock In The Bog (RITB) had reached it’s pinnacle and was limiting them to the genre of music that they could bring you over a fab music filled festival weekend in Lewes.

LEWESLIVE. . .

So Cliffe Bonfire Society (CBS) now offer you LEWESLIVE, It is a revamped Rock in the Bog (RITB) weekend, but with much more choice for all the family, from live Rock and Folk to Ska and Blues and headlined this year by Hayseed Dixie, there will be something for everyone. There will still be free camping included in your LEWESLIVE festival ticket price and a great selection of beers and ciders will still be available from the Torchmakers Thumb.

Tickets are seriously limited and are now available for this event, Full details of which can be found here at www.leweslive.com . . But do not hang about though, As this event has been likened to the early days of the now famous Glastonbury festival, And this two day event aims this year to offer the same great quality and atmosphere as in previous years and is aiming to be the biggest and best yet. To celebrate their re-launch, popular American Rockgrass band ‘Hayseed Dixie’ has been booked to play the headline slot on the Saturday night.
